Welcome. Northside Social Golf Club Inc is a non-profit club founded in 1968 by a group of guys who enjoyed a friendly competition at the Hamersley Public Golf Course on a Saturday morning, teeing off at sunrise.
Since then the club has expanded to some 30-40 members and also play at a private course once a month.
The Club plays a variety of competitions including Stroke, Stableford, Par and Matchplay plus a number of novelty games each season.
Prizes are awarded for the Weekly Winner, Runner-Up, Best Front and Back 9, Nearest the Pin on par 3 holes, Bit Markers on other selected holes and 2 Ball, plus members can enter an ongoing Birdie competition for each grade.
Perpetual Trophies and prizes are awarded at the Annual Presentation Night for major club competitions held throughout the season.
Membership fees are currently $190 per year for a 46 week season; this covers cost of GolfWA, GOLFLink and MiScore levies, Club shirt and subsidies to reduce cost to members of away games and social events.
Hamersley Public Golf Course green fees, currently $35.50, are payable by members and green fees at private courses are limited to $60 for members.
